Astăzi, posibilitatea de a face fotografii memorabile este mai accesibilă ca niciodată, datorită smartphone-urilor care se îmbunătățesc mereu. Cu toate astea, indiferent de megapixeli, este nevoie de răbdare, creativitate și abilitate tehnică pentru a crea imagini uimitoare cu ajutorul unui telefon. Cea de-a 10-a ediție anuală a Mobile Photography Awards a anunțat imaginile câștigătoare, într-o gamă largă de categorii.
Fotografia telefonică a devenit una dintre cele mai accesibile forme de artă digitală, întrucât un număr tot mai mare de oameni sunt capabili să facă cu ușurință imagini de înaltă rezoluție. Pentru premiile din 2020, juriul a selectat 20 de câștigători din categorii tematice, dintre cele 5 700 de fotografii trimise, provenind din peste 75 de țări.
Câștigătorul Marelui Premiu 2020 și titlul de Fotograf al Anului 2020 confrom MPA îi revin lui Dan Liu, care a câștigat în categoria Siluete. Liu este un fotograf și artist independent care explorează condiția umană și fotografia de peisaj. Fotografiată cu un Apple iPhone11 ProMax, imaginea sa își manifestă personajele în mijlocul unei povești. Pentru această fotografie, artistul a câștigat și un premiu de 3 000 de dolari.
