Dacă nu ați auzit, universitățile din întreaga lume oferă cursuri online gratuite sau achitate parțial. Aceste cursuri sunt numite în mod colectiv MOOC. În ultimii șase ani, au fost creeate peste opt mii de programe MOOC, de peste 800 de universități.
Din luna septembrie curent, peste 200 de universități au anunțat 600 de cursuri gratuite online din domenii precum: Informatică, Matematică, Programare, Științe sociale, Educație, Sănătate și medicină, Artă și design etc.
